Priyanka Chopra dazzles, Anushka Sharma disappoints on the red carpet
Celebs gathered for the Filmfare nomination bash 2013. And we totally dig the glamorous gowns and the sophisticated suits worn by some of the stars
The Filmfare nomination bash was as good as a grand award ceremony. While some thought it was a big affair and were dressed to kill, there were other celebs who took it easy and opted for a more relaxed look. Deepika Padukone for instance made an appearance at the party in wide-legged pants
and a sequined jacket. Quite a contrast to her usual uber-stylish avatars, the one good thing we loved about DP’s look was her oxblood hued lipstick. Sridevi looked great neck-up, the hair and make-up was bang on, but those flared trousers were somehow a major letdown. Alia Bhatt, the young babe known for experimenting with shades like gold and lots of bling, stepped on the red carpet in an extremely boring light-hued gown. The flower bodice didn’t do much to bring out the signature effervescence in her.
Ranveer Singh was a breath of fresh air in that prim and proper suit. Thank god he stayed away from his wannabe rapper look. Priyanka Chopra sizzled in a Dior gown and Anushka Sharma’s style experiment didn’t particularly impress us. But again, when it comes to make-up and hair, she gets full marks for it.
Aditi Rao Hydari looked gorgeous in a Gaurav Gupta gown, but we wish she created some sort of a contrast by opting for a dark shaded lipstick. All in all a great party, with lots of visual treats, we surely drooled over all the cool style statements…
