black beauty girls and beauty hairstyles

TV and print advertisements are loaded with product promotion in the beauty industry as it has to be – how else are we going to learn about the latest and greatest mascara and dark spot corrector? Because hair is our
greatest accessory, hair products are equally important, each promising to do something great for our coifs
like provide better nourishment, shiny hair and prevention of split ends.We can pretty much gauge which make- up products complement our deeper hued skin tone, but hair products can take a bit more research. Gone are the days when we relied solely on Ultra Sheen and Luster’s Pink Oil Moisturizer. Today’s hair care market is saturated with styling tools and remedies guaranteed to revitalize dull, lifeless hair; and interestingly enough the products offering and delivering some of the best results are products made by and for our European brothers and sisters. There is no doubt that some of my best-tressed sister girls rely on some of these hair care staples:

beijos, boa semana!

Sydney – A female keeper was rushed to hospital in a critical condition Friday after being pinned against a
bollard by an elephant at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo, authorities said.
An ambulance spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the elephant enclosure on Friday morning and discovered a woman unconscious and not breathing, with multiple injuries.
“We had a report that a female in her 40s had been injured by an elephant,” the spokeswoman told Agence France-Presse.
“She had critical injuries, multiple injuries. The patient was unconscious and had stopped breathing.”
The zoo said the woman was conducting a routine training session when “a young male elephant pinned the female keeper against a bollard”.
“Two other keepers in an adjoining stall responded to her call and moved the elephant away,” it said.
“An investigation has been immediately commenced into this incident and what may have prompted the reaction.
“It’s unknown at this time why the young elephant challenged the keeper,” the zoo added.

Women dream of being chased, and men about sex

Times of India - Women have more nightmares and men dream more of sex, a new study has revealed.
For the study, scientists at the University of Montreal spent 11 years collecting data on the different nighttime dreams of men and women.   They found that the happiness index for dreams is at its lowest when we are between the ages of 20 and 30.
The new study found that both men and women both dream about sex, but men have it on their unconscious minds a little more often.   The survey lists 56 dream themes, including falling, floating,
being chased, snakes, swimming, flooding and losing your teeth, the New York Daily News reported.
Sex was the most common dream theme for men, with 85 per cent of respondents saying they dream about it at least occasionally.   Women weren't far behind, with 73 per cent responding they dream about sex at least once in a while.   Women are more likely to dream about being chased — 83 per cent compared to 78 per cent for men.   For both men and women, dreams of falling are the third most frequent dream, the results indicate.   According to the Toronto Sun, researcher Tore Nielsen said that there appears to be a clear 'dream theme diversity' between the two sexes.
Women are more likely to dream about someone dying, being paralyzed by fear, or spiders and snakes. Women also report more nightmares than men.   Men dream about flying, having magical powers, trying to kill someone or travelling to distant planets.   The least surprising part of the study was that as we age, the range of things we dream about becomes smaller.

Four Foolish Majors To Avoid

If going back to school is on your horizon, great. Just be aware that not every degree can put you on the path to a career you desire.

By Terence Loose

Are you thinking of going back to school, but want to make sure the degree you earn is one that can help breathe life into your career, rather than kill it?

That's smart thinking. College is a big investment of time and money, so it's important to choose a major that will give you a good shot at a return on that investment.

But how do you know if your major is a good choice or a bad move?

"Right now, in this economy, getting a degree that gives you skills that employers want is vital because there are too many people out of work, so the competition for jobs is fierce," says Susan Heathfield, a career expert and writer of About.com's Guide to Human Resources.

We should also be clear that we're speaking to you adult learners - moms, dads, and professionals with family and work obligations. For you, going back to school is probably about getting a promotion or finding a new, exciting career that pays the mortgage or rent.

So to help you think twice about the degree you may want to pursue, we studied up on a few majors that might be career poison. We also pulled the unemployment rates associated with those degree holders from a 2012 report by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce called "Hard Times: Not all College Degrees Are Created Equal."

But don't worry; it's not all doom and gloom. We also got the skinny on good alternative choices. Keep reading to learn more about what we uncovered.

Opportunity Killer #1: Liberal Arts
Unemployment Rate for Recent College Graduates: 9.2 percent*

Don't get us wrong, we love the liberal arts. Studying a broad palette of subjects including everything from literature to philosophy, to history and even sociology sounds like a dream. Unfortunately, employers live - and hire - in reality, and may not see a liberal arts degree in the same divine light as the ancient Greeks did.

"I don't think the majority of [liberal arts grads] are going to be employable because they don't come out of those degrees with any marketable skills," says Heathfield. "But even worse than that, they spend the money to go four years to college and then get a job that pays $30,000 a year with no upward prospects."

EPISODE 124: Don't Know How To Dance?

Love it or hate it, at some point in your life you're probably going to have to dance. Choreographer Leslie Feliciano shows host Dan Soder a few foolproof moves so you can finally look Mansome on the dance
floor. You'll be dancing the Two-Step, the Pivot, and the Dip in no time at all.
